Destiny Ballance, MSN, FNP-BC

Destiny is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience across acute care, primary care, and community health. Her work has been shaped by caring for patients with complex needs, as well as recognizing the limitations that often exist within traditional models of care.Her interest in hormonal and midlife health became deeply personal after witnessing close family members navigate menopause and postmenopausal symptoms without the level of clarity, support, or options they deserved. That experience further refined her commitment to a more thoughtful and individualized approach to care.

Her background includes providing concierge IV hydration services, where she developed a foundation in restoration and preventative health. She has since expanded her services through telehealth, offering a more comprehensive and flexible model of care. Aura Dei Wellness was founded with intention, reflecting an ethos rooted in the belief that each person is created with inherent value and dignity. The name itself is inspired by the concept of Imago Dei—to be made in the image of God—and also serves as a tribute to Destiny’s late aunt, whose legacy of care, beauty, and service continues to influence her work.

Destiny is passionate about creating space for conversations that are often overlooked in conventional healthcare settings—whether limited by time constraints, system structures, or insurance-driven care models. She believes meaningful care begins with listening and with understanding the full context of each patient’s experience.
Her approach is grounded in delivering safe, comprehensive, evidence-based care that considers the whole person. Each plan is developed with intention, balancing clinical precision with a level of attention that allows patients to feel supported, respected, and truly heard.
